Op 24 en 25 september 2024 wordt in het Hilton Amsterdam de bijeenkomst ‘Maritime Decarbonisation Europe’ gehouden. De bijeenkomst gaat over de energietransitie en verduurzaming in de maritieme sector. Op 24 september worden ook de zogeheten ‘Marine Propulsion Decarbonisation Awards’ uitgereikt voor de beste innovaties, technologieën en projecten die hier aan kunnen bijdragen. Een van de genomineerden is de Neo Orbis, het waterstofschip van het Europese H2Ships waarin Port of Amsterdam participeert.
